Philadelphia Christmas Village 2020

Yalynka Decor at Socially Distanced Version of Philadelphia Christmas Village 2020

I am grateful to German American Marketing Inc and it’s General Manager, Thomas Bauer, for making it happen in such a difficult time when the majority of traditional Christmas Markets in Germany and USA are closed due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Working very closely with the City of Philadelphia and the Health Department to be in accordance with all city and statewide safety guidelines, Christmas Village in Philadelphia, the authentic open-air German-style Christmas Market at LOVE Park and City Hall, returned Thanksgiving Day, November 26 through Christmas Eve, December 24, 2020 with a Preview Weekend on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22.

To create a safe environment for all visitors and involved parties, Philadelphia Christmas Village 2020 modified its entire layout to allow social distancing. Vendors were placed in a socially-distanced way, at least 10ft. apart from each other. Organizers also brought back only half the number of vendors this year.

Because of COVID-19, there were no stage acts or stage performances. Wine tasting and other spacial events were left out this season – usually they are well visited so crowd controlling would not be possible.

The Yalynka Decor Ltd booth was located at the same location along Arch Street and was offering to our long term followers and new clients a wide selection of hand painted glass balls of more then 120 designs and authentic Ukrainian Christmas gifts.

Christmas Village Philadelphia is modeled after traditional German Christmas Markets with the goal of providing a wide variety of Christmas gifts, entertainment, food and drinks in traditional timber booths.

Come next year with friends and family to stroll around and enjoy performances and unique shopping!
